Windrush Junior Series
November 30th , 2025

This event is being run by DBYC
GENERAL:
 One sailing session will be held starting no earlier than 11.00am.
 There will be no starts after 1.30pm
 A minimum of one race will constitute a series.
 A maximum of 4 races in any sailing session.
 All boats will have a minimum of 2 junior sailors on board.
 The boats can be set up with or without a jib.
 There will be no drop races in this series.
 We will use a low points scoring system.
 No protests from competitors will be allowed.
 A jury boat may be on station and may hail your craft to inform you of a time
penalty.
 All penalty times are at the discretion of the juror.
 No racing will take place once the wind reaches an average speed of 15 knts.

STARTING:
 On station flag will be a blue flag flying from the start boat.
 The starting sequence will be a 3-minute sequence
o 3 min to start Windrush class flag will be raised, Sound signal is
optional.
o 2 min to start code flag P will be raised, Sound signal is optional.
o 1 Min to start code flag P will drop, Sound signal is optional.
o Start Windrush class flag will drop, Sound signal is optional.
 Your boat must cross the start after the start signal If you break the start, you
will incur a 1-minute penalty.
 No notification from the start boat will be given.
